Online Egg Donor Evaluations for Recipient Parents in Oklahoma City and throughout OK & TX

Whether you’re just starting to explore your options or are already in treatment, therapy can help you handle the emotional challenges of building a family.

I proudly assist individuals, couples, and queer families at every stage of the family-building process.

If you are planning to start a family with donor egg IVF, your fertility clinic will likely ask for an evaluation before treatment begins.

This may seem intimidating, but it’s more than just a formality. The evaluation allows you to discuss your feelings about using a donor. It’s also a good time to ask questions and prepare for parenthood.

Together, we can address any concerns or emotions you have, so you can feel confident moving forward.

As a therapist in Dallas, Texas, I’m here to support you without judgment.

Most egg donor evaluations take about 60 to 90 minutes, although everyone's situation is different.

When we meet, we'll sit down for an informal conversation. I'll ask about your fertility journey and what has led you to donor conception. I'll also ask you about any concerns, questions, or emotions you'd like to explore.

This isn't a test, so there are no wrong answers. It's a dedicated space for you to feel supported in your journey to parenthood.

My goal is for you to feel comfortable sharing your story and journey. And to help you feel prepared moving forward.

After our session, I'll prepare the documentation your fertility clinic requires. And if I feel additional support would be helpful, I'll share those options with you. But for most people, this evaluation is a one-time appointment.

What to Expect During an Egg Donor Evaluation

My role is to make room for your unique experience and provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can process your feelings, so you can move forward with confidence.

Feeling grateful to have another path to parenthood while still mourning the path you thought you'd take.

Wondering how this decision might affect your relationship with your partner, family, or loved ones.

Thinking about how you'll talk to your future child about their donor conception story.

Feeling anxious about the uncertainty of fertility treatment.

Wondering if you're making the "right" decision.

Feeling hopeful and excited about becoming a parent while also grieving the loss of a genetic connection.

Choosing to build your family with donor eggs can bring up a wide range of emotions. Whatever you're feeling right now is valid, and you don't have to process it alone.

Here are some of the most common experiences I hear from intended parents:

Why Emotional Support Matters for Donor Egg Recipients

My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based care. I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) or Brainspotting to help my clients process emotions and experiences.

Whether we're completing your donor egg recipient evaluation..

or exploring the emotional impact of your fertility journey...

My role isn't to tell you what decisions to make. It's to help you feel supported, informed, and confident as you make the decisions that are best for you and your family.

My goal is to create a space where you feel seen and supported exactly as you are, without judgment or assumptions about what your family "should" look like.

I believe there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to building a family.

As a therapist in Dallas, I welcome individuals, couples, LGBTQ+ clients, and people building families through donor conception and other nontraditional paths to parenthood.

My practice is safe and affirming for people of all genders, sexualities, abilities, religions, and racial and ethnic identities. Social injustices and inequities harm our physical and mental health, so I strive to center my practice in the ethics of antiracism, climate justice, and reproductive justice for all.
