As someone who is motivated, curious about yourself and the world, and open to learning and growing, it makes perfect sense to seek out support when life has gotten hard. I’m here to help with a safe space to explore your feelings, the world around you, and to gain insight into yourself. Therapy will help you feel more in control and ready to handle life in a way that feels clear and confident!
I’m a therapist who doesn’t take myself too seriously and will infuse humor, song lyrics, pop culture, bad words, and sarcasm into our sessions, just as quickly as I will offer warmth, understanding, and empathy. I will always keep it real, grounded in kindness and honesty about what I can and cannot offer you.
I am committed to learning and growing as a professional, so I can continue to offer high-quality, impactful services. Most importantly, I will give you a space to be yourself - no matter how complicated and messy that may feel at times.
Everything begins and ends in the context of relationships, including therapy. My priority is creating a place that is safe, respectful, genuine and caring. I am not here to fix you. You are the expert of your own life and experiences. I am here to accept and support you as you work towards the life you want. I know how hard life is at times and how lonely it can feel when you don’t feel seen, or understood or valued.
Together, we will work through the symptoms of depression and anxiety that are having a negative effect on your daily life. If you’re going through a big life decision or event and the many emotions that come with it, we can navigate that together, too.
Therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. That’s why I offer flexibility in my treatment approach, based on where you are and what you need. I’m open, curious, and willing to try different things to help you reach your goals. Meeting you where you are is a foundational value of my practice.
In our sessions, I’ll be there to hold space, advocate for you, support you, and help you discover the tools you need to navigate the hard stuff that life throws your way.
